Tender Process

Corebuild are happy to recommend architects, structural engineers and interior designers who we have a working relationship with.

However, Corebuild believe the tender process should work as follows:

  • Clients source a competent, experienced architect who can form a tender package, including planning and construction drawings, structural engineer calculations, any party wall agreements, and a full written specification to the client’s vision.
  • A main contractor is then selected on their cost, ability to complete similar size jobs, recommendation etc.
  • Contractor can work with client and/or architect to ‘value engineer’ the build prior to commencement, and implement all necessary project management systems to best serve the project.

 

We feel the transparency created by not keeping design and build under one roof allows clients to really achieve their vision rather than being influenced by what best serves the contractor.
